PSR stands for preview, study-read, and review. PSR is questioning before, during and after reading, and then answering those questions, so that you can correctly identify the main idea and details.
In the preview stage there are three steps:
1. Skim the reading
2. Develop questions
3. Predict content
In the study-read stage there are 4 steps:
1. Read and ask questions
2. Understand section
3. Monitor your reading
4. Determine main idea
In the review stage there are 2 steps:
1. Assess your understanding
2. Clarify confusing parts
